Fingernail Polish Tutorial: Concentric Circles

I’m so proud of myself! See, I’m terrible at painting fingernails. Half the time I can barely manage to make them look passable. I can paint my left hand alright using my right hand, but when it comes time to use my left hand, things get ugly. But this time not only did I manage to paint both hands, I also added an awesome concentric circle pattern. Yup, 100% by myself!
If I managed to do it on my own, you know it must be easy. How easy? Here’s how I did it, inspired by a similar idea from How Does She? (via Dollar Store Crafts).
You will need:
- Hole reinforcement stickers (the kind you use on notebook paper)
- 2 colors nail polish
- Topcoat
Directions:
- Paint your fingernails in alternating colors. (One nail in color A, the next in color B, then the next in color A, and so on.) Allow the polish to dry completely.
- Place a hole reinforcement sticker on each nail, changing the positioning slightly for each nail. Paint around the sticker using the opposite color of nail polish.
- Carefully peel off the sticker while the polish is still wet.
- Finish with a clear topcoat to protect the design and to even out the surface.
