Mrs. Greene Goes Shopping: Eyewear, Drinkware, Coupons and Credits!
Anyone who knows me will tell you that I am always on the hunt for deals. And I like to think I am pretty darn good at finding them! Lately I’ve found a few crazy deals that I just couldn’t pass up. Wanna see?

First, I got an offer from Goggles4U through MyPoints for a really, really cheap pair of prescription glasses. I ordered this pair with tinted lenses, my first pair of prescription sunglasses in a looooong time! After my coupon code and including shipping, I only paid $10.90 for them! It’s hard to tell in the picture, but they have bright magenta down the sides of the ear pieces. They are kind of weird and nothing I would wear as my regular, day-to-day frames, but they work really well as sunglasses!
They came in the mail today and I love them! So much, in fact, that since I had another great coupon code, I ordered two more pairs.

I got these with regular lenses…

…and these with tinted lenses! For both pairs, including shipping, I paid $16.85. Crazy, right? Three pairs of prescription glasses, two of them sunglasses, INCLUDING shipping for a total of $27.75!! (At these prices, I might soon have more spectacles than I do shoes!) Plus I got 1,000 points at MyPoints for placing the orders, which is over halfway to a free $10 gift card at a whole bunch of different places. And you know I love me some free gift card action!

Besides my recent glasses obsession, I have also discovered Fab.com. The other day they posted a sale for Ugly Dolls, including a few different coffee mugs. I know I already have a bunch of coffee mugs, but most of them are pretty lame. But I had a $10.00 credit to use on the site (earned by simply sharing my activity on Facebook and Fab’s social feed), so I talked myself into one. And then I decided that Mr. Greene needs one too! This is the one I picked out for myself.

This is the one I got for the hubby! Aren’t they adorable? They’re regularly $11.99 each ($23.98 for the pair), but Fab’s sale price was $7.00 each. After the credit, plus shipping, I got them both for a grand total of $8.95.
BOOM!
Yeah, I told you I was good at finding crazy deals! (If you want to check out Fab.com for yourself, please use this link so I get credit for referring you!)

But wait, there’s more! Through Klout Perks I got a $10 credit to Left Lane Sports, so I decided to surf around the site. I found an awesome wallet by Sherpani, which retails for $22.95, at a discounted price of $10.45, perfect for spending my credit! Shipping was kind of steep ($7.95), but that still only left me with a total of $8.40 altogether. I really needed a new wallet, and I love how the inside of this one is set up. Not to mention that it’s really cute! (And I got the last one they had in blue!) If you want your own $10 credit to spend at LLS, join using this link and the credit will automatically be added to your account!
So, for those of you keeping score, that’s three pairs of prescription glasses (one regular and two sunglasses), two designer coffee mugs, and a really cool wallet, all for a grand total of $45.10, including all of the shipping charges! Not bad, eh?
