NaNoWriMo 2012, Bloggy Style
Have you ever heard of NaNoWriMo?
It stands for National Novel Writing Month. Every November, writers are challenged to write a 50,000 word novel in a mere 30 days, averaging 1,667 words each day. Crazy, right?
Crazy is something I know quite well. It pretty much sums up my life and my personality. And while I have wanted for quite a few years to participate in NaNoWriMo, this month is just never a good time for me to drop everything and write that much fiction. (Expect a craft blogger to miss the entire beginning of Christmas project season? Pffft! Yeah right!)
This year, though, I decided to take up the challenge but with a twist. For NaNoWriMo 2012, my goal is to write 50,000 words worth of blog posts! (Okay, I know, it’s completely insane. But that won’t stop me!)
So here we go on an odyssey of words and wackiness. Are you ready? I think I am… I guess we’ll find out!

What a great idea! Good luck with the ‘novel’ – that’s a lot of words, Rhonda! Hey, it never struck me before, but you are so right – why the heck do they hold it in November when people are so occupied with holiday stuff? They should do it in March or some less crazy month.
