Holiday Gift Guide 2012: Vintage Fashion Treasures from juja&stone
I love both handmade and vintage clothing and accessories, so I am always on the lookout for new places to hunt for such treasures. Even so, my discovery of juja&stone happened in kind of a round-about way.
Before I knew that she was one of the co-founders of j&s, I started following a girl named Tami on Instagram because she was a fellow Michigan gal with thick-rimmed glasses who also had a thing for nature walks and taking photos of clouds. Then one day as I was scrolling through my Instagram feed, I stopped on a photo of her in a fabulous vintage dress. And so began my love affair with their line of distinctive, beautiful vintage frocks and handmade bags. If your holiday shopping list includes anyone who loves vintage and handmade fashion, juja&stone is someplace you absolutely must check out.
One piece I’ve been eying up is this red and white batwing sweater. I love the details on this sweater, and the cut of the sleeves is fabulous. It’s also a very forgiving style, so a lot of different body types would all look good wearing it!

What about the odds and ends of clothing that are made from beautiful fabrics but are no longer in wearable conditon? Those get new life too, as handmade, recycled bags! I’m quite fond of this metallic green clutch that is made from recycled leather and lined with pretty recycled fabric. It’s a very versatile piece; I could see myself carrying it with a cocktail dress just as easily as I could see it with layered tank tops and a pair of torn jeans; that’s pretty much the entire dress-it-up to dress-it-down scale!
Need one more good reason to go check out juja&stone? Their Let It Snow sale is on now! Check out the sale section of their shop for generous discounts on fabulous fashions!
