Tutorial: Faux Sea Glass Glassware

I collect a lot of things, and beach glass (sometimes also called sea glass) is one of those things. But even with a big collection, sometimes I just don’t have enough pieces in the right sizes or colors to make something I envision become reality. So when DecoArt sent me a big box of glass paints to try and I saw that some of the paints had a frosted finish, the first thing that came to mind was making a faux beach glass mosaic! Love the look of beach glass, but after moving back from the coast to Illinois 20 years ago, I don’t have too many chances to get it!

One of the things I would make is decorate a dog treat jar for my step-dad. He makes homemade dog biscuits for his dog.

I would probably attempt some flower vases with this set. And I would purchase some crafty things for the kids homeschooling.
