I recently received a box from Influenster in which they sent some complimentary nail polish for me to try out. I got three bottles of Sally Hansen’s Complete Salon Manicure: red, black, and a jade-y green. The literature in the box claimed that the polish could last for up to 10 days without chipping. My first thought was, yeah right! I am usually happy if my polish lasts more than 2 or 3 days looking decent, since being crafty is generally pretty hard on a manicure. So I decided to give it a try. (While I received this nail polish for free, my review is unbiased and all opinions expressed herein are 100% my own.)
I have now done my nails with this polish twice; the black and red manicure in the picture and also just a straight red manicure. I was really happy with the coverage I got with those colors, and an extra-wide brush makes it go on quick and easy. My only initial complaint is that the green was much more sheer than I had hoped. While I was testing out all of the colors on one finger each to see how they went on, I had to put on 3 coats to get the coverage I wanted, and usually I don’t have time for a third coat, so the chances I will wear that color are slim, but I LOVE the black and red!
So… How did it go? Check out my video!
So, it didn’t make it without chipping for the full 10 days, but honestly I think I gave it more wear and tear than an average girl might, including lots of cutting, sanding, and painting. So really, it was pretty darn amazing! Definitely the longest-wearing of any polish I have ever tried. I give it two only-slightly-chipping thumbs up!
